I first contacted Joyce after a bad experience with another real estate agent. I wanted to find a home for myself, and my 3 small boys, but I needed a realtor who would watch my back. Joyce teamed up with her husband, Rick, and were able to find a home for us close walking distance to school. As a single mom, this was very important to me. I wanted to sell my family’s home and move to Florida. My husband works long hours, so I needed a real estate agent who could take the stress off me. I was getting very nervous. I spoke to Joyce first, and when I met both Rick and Joyce, I knew I wanted them to sell my home. They were helpful and understanding and they knew what they were talking about. I felt better knowing they were taking care of things for me. We worked out a market plan that was comfortable for all of us. I have small children at home and I wanted to feel safe. We got the price we wanted so we could move on with our plans. They did a good job.

 Rick and Joyce were there for us when we needed it the most. We were new residents into this country (less than a month) and wanted to make a home purchase. We had no transportation yet or connections of any kind. Rick and Joyce provided our transportation (picking us up from BART), found our dream home and made the deal close in a timely manner. They answered all the questions we had and were always available by phone or in person to help us out. To our delight, they have kept in touch with us, making sure that we are happy and are ready to assist in any way possible.

Rick Tietz, my realtor, helped me and my family find a great home in Antioch. The deal closed with no problems, making my family’s dreams come true. When I was ready to purchase again, I, of course, called the Tietz’s again. The home buying process can be frustrating and tiring, but they made it a lot easier for me, coordinating with my lender to make the transaction go smoothly. The advice they gave me was honest and professional, but they respected my opinions as well. I consider them my realtors for life.

I’ve been burned before and putting my trust in someone on such an important deal as the sale of my home was difficult for me. Rick put me at ease, letting me know that he and Joyce would take care of our best interest, no matter what. Although skeptical at first, we moved forward. They proved that, what they say they will do, they will do. I was so pleased with the service and the honesty that I had them represent us on the purchase of our new home.
